I'd want things resolved alot more than they are. That never seems to happen with this writing team though. We're just presented with a change as a fact, and don't get to see real growth. I think that's a shame.

Very well put. The "redemption" of St. EJ springs to mind. I'm still waiting on his apologies to everyone he tried to kill. I also didn't hear him apologizing to Sami for torturing her by making her think he had poisoned her and her unborn babies; I guess they didn't have time to fit that in to the five minute explanation of how December 29 was him thinking he was making love to her.

I don't think it's just this writing team, though. Lucas and Sami both got whitewashed beyond recognition by Hogan and both IMO suffered immensely for it. Hogan made EJ way too BSC and Dena tried to fix it through the magical combination of ignoring most of it and offering a half-hearted and insulting "explanation" for his actions towards one (and only one) of his victims. I've lost hope that EJ trying to kill Lucas by locking him in the freezer truck will ever be brought up. And I don't even like Lucas!
I can clearly remember EJ torturing Steve, whipping on him, patting him on the head and calling him "good dog". Then lately I've seen Steve and EJ chatting quite amiably. All that chaps my hiney, his "redemption" has to be the biggest crock since soaps began.

Oh EJ you're gonna be eating your words! FBI guy comes on sometime in October just in time to mend Nicole's broken heart. LOL!
Clearly there relationship was purley physical as he obviously doubts whether the baby is his, so whether he is wrong or not, I don't see there relationship going much farther then it's present state. Sure he may ask her to move in, that doesn't equate love LMAO!
I don't see that Nicole Dimera said anything funny. She is entitled to her opinion.
Definitely, he's not drooling with mad desiring love for Sami either. Sure, they had a nice banter over that resume, but Sami and Lucas had nice rapport, too.
well that's you, but I found it pretty funny, and as you said everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I simply stated mine.
It was the way you said it, but hey, whatever.
wtf cares? seriously?
Probably the people you use that tone with, but whatever.
Ginababe, I left soapcentral board because ejami group made it into something I didn't want to be part of.
You know you post that kind of "wtf" stuff there, and can't you leave it there?

How great is it seeing Caroline be the center of the show this week, like others have said Peggy is delivering. She does have plenty of material for a supporting actress nom, although I would be absolutely shocked if she pulled a nom somehow. I enjoyed all the cop station scenes until the end when I found it contrived how a couple just happened to walk by at the exact time Caroline went after Trent with a knife.

Bryan Datillo is actually a good actor when he doesn't have to show rage or isn't yelling out his lines. The scenes the last 2 eppies is how and why I used to be a LUMI fan. Having said that I don't ever want them back together, they are best when they are bickering back and forth. These scenes were great, glad Lucas brought up the Will ordeal.

I wish someone would kill Dan just like they did Trent, I just can't take much more of him. How I would love to watch Victor strangle him to death.

Jawn/Nicole: Ari has become a top notch actress, she shines in every single scene. Her and Drake play off each other well.

I am looking forward to see how EJ eventually reacts to fathering 2 more children. Ever heard of a condom?

BD is a good mimic. In one scene with EJ this week, he actually did a little bit of English accent. I liked that, the writers lightening him up.

Soaptown RUMOR
I am going to interject here that I like the level of maturity in your disagreements. I am finding this board very refreshing. I spent two years on the soapcentral board, and am now leaving it for good, because it nearly made me crazy! Talk about wars, there is WAR on that board. This board seems like a walk in the park in comparison.

I am so sick of the couple wars too. First it was Lumi/EJami, and now we've been having EJole/EJami wars. I try to stay out of the fray, but its hard to sit by and watch something that just doesn't happen in reality, nor is it something I feel that should be playing out on our screens for the younger girls that watch the show. There is nothing natural or believable about a woman falling in love with the man that raped her and terrorized her/her family and her children for 2+ years.

Some things you just can't suspend belief about. In fact some of their s/l's are down right insulting. This happens to be one of them for me. Stax is another.
The only thing that explains it is the Stockholm Syndrome. This fits Sami exactly. She has been held hostage by EJ through all his threats and manipulations, and last telling her she could not take Johnny out of the mansion (court order). The man is a complete piece of work.

If Sami herself can get free, it will take some time, but she can completely overcome the brainwashing he has put her through. I hope she runs away, so the new baby won't be caught in that evil web.

Never mind. She wants Phillip to get VICTOR to track down her father's killer.

Whew!
As previously stated, she is after money. Have you been watching show from the first day they showed Melanie in France?
She is all about cozying up to guys for money.
Yes, but they were younger men as I recall, closer to her own age. Philip is completely and totally out of her league--much older and more sophisticated than her previous targets.
Thank God, for his more sophistication. I saw how her winning smile left him unimpressed. She isn't used to that, and you could see it on her face.
