Somersetfan... this is quite the appropriate question for me to be asking, but didn't he create Renee Dumonde along with Pat Falkin-Smith?

She does, however, hate the good girl it seems. Rebecca Herbst was fired then rehired after fan outcry during her GH run. Maureen Bauer on GL. Frankie Frame on AW. Emily and Georgie were killed off on GH. Cassie fired on OLTL while on maternity leave. Genie Francis quits.

THIS is the absolute truth. Mark my words. There will be a serial killer storyline in which several supporting characters and at least one major, well loved, character will die violent deaths. They will all be women. This is the way JFP guides her writers. It's been her calling card on three shows. Why would she change it now? Quite honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she killed off Kay.

And for the person who asked earlier, Nadine's death at the hands of the cross-dressing killer on GL was done after JFP left the show. Legend has it that the drag queen was actually a parody of JFP and her "show killing" style. So while we can't blame Nadine's death directly on her, she did play a role. Sort of... :)

This is NOT good news. JFP hastened the demise of Another World with her haphazard and shortsighted stewardship of the show. She allowed the hack writer Maggie DePriest (a.k.a. Maggot DeBeast) to craft the violent stalker storyline that resulted in the horrific onscreen murder of popular Frankie Winthrop. Once Proctor and Gamble woke up and realized how ineffective she was, it was too late.

You think Y&R's in bad hands under MAB, just wait until this prize package gets her greasy hands on the show.

Kirsten Storms Confirmed Back to GH
How about Jen as Belle on Days with Jason Cook returning as Shawn. That would make for a funny turn of events.

While they didn't celebrate it, glad it was pointed out in more than once scene that it was 4th of July.
July 4, 2013 (ie next year) will be the 30th anniversary of Bo and Hope's famous Independence Day kiss, when Hope was working the kissing booth at the Salem July 4th Picnic. Assuming the show's still on the air, I hope they acknowledge that special moment.

I don't see any sexual undertones, sorry.
I sure do. There were so many peak emotional moments in today's scenes with EJ and Will, I half expected Will to thrown himself into EJ's arms. I think what it boils down to is the fact that Chandler and James have chemistry, not necessarily sexual chemistry, but chemistry as actors.

As far as I'm concerned, the undertones are palpable. ;)

But, we all glean our own meanings from everything we read/watch/consume.
