Michael Logan interview with Drake Hogestyn
Maybe this new character who is supposed to be John's son will appreciate his dad(the legacy character who deserves nothing but respect from his kids) and love him, unlike Brady Black.

Tomsell are/were terrible with on screen stories and they are even more terrible with off screen s/ls.
Just my opinion but I think Tomsell brought this new character(have now idea who he is or the actor himself) to have him John as a father for Sonny and Will's story, it has nothing to do with John having leading role(they just had to write John in it since it also concerns him). Tomsell would't write any leading stories for the actors they don't like. If you understand what I mean.

Victor has a lot of nerve considering he was responsible for Sonny being stabbed.
To be fair at least Victor was unaware that his actions could/would result in Sonny being hurt.
Last time Victor was aware of something was 2008, when Dena wrote Victor/Philip/Chloe/John/Paul/Stefano shipment war, after that Tomlin took over the show and the only thing he wanted to promote was Kiriakis name. Victor's become just an empty character.

SOD: Daniel figures out that JJ and Eve had sex!
Since SC/Daniel Jonas came to Days other lead males( Philip,Steve, Jack, Bo, John) weren't needed any more, so, some were let go others forced to quit, because Daniel became the investigator, doctor who gropes the patient(Chloe) and sleeps with them , cop, God :hail: , Casanova, the brain of the Salem, the son many didn't have, the great friend everyone needed, did I miss something? In one word he became almost all males. Tomsell(who I despise) needed to save money for the show

Peter Reckell & Stephen Nichols BOTH Back!
Congrats to their fans.

All I want to see if Jay/Philip is coming back.

Story potential: Philip finds out that Victor orchestrated the fake retest, he comes back to town furious with him and wanting to destroy him. Huge wedge between him and Chloe because of all the time he's missed and how Chloe doesn't want Philip in Parker's life, even if he is the father. Chloe is determined to protect Parker and finds herself at odds with a vengeful Philip. Daniel is destroyed and must seek solace in whoever the flavor of the week is at that point. Melanie is miserable and sits in Brady's lap and tells her other daddy how sad she is to lose Parker again. Maggie has the vapors over losing her egg grandchild, and divorced Victor over the deception, which makes Victor equally furious and ready to combat Philip. Not that I care about Daniel, Melanie, or Maggie, but fixing the paternity could very easily drive NEW story.

Fixing Parker's paternity could touch a lot of the current characters on canvas, bring back some fan faves, and could create new story.
LOL, we know Parker doesn't need protection from Philip, but Dan I would agree :blulaugh:
Philip raised Parker two freaking years, and seemed he did a great job, before Tomsell gave him a new daddy.

But to me Parker ALWAYS be Philip's.
I'm not saying Philip would hurt Parker, just that I can see Chloe getting overprotective, and it would be good Phloe angst. :)
Yeah, I know what you were saying.
Waiting to see what Dena does, I'll be reading spoilers everyday.

Fixing something another writer screwed up is subjective. I would prefer them concentrate on much needed new stories than rewrite previously rewritten stories.
I agree... for me, "fixing" things is about returning them to a static place. The problem with Days is that the stories suck, and they need to be dynamic to work. A new writer can come in and change what happened, but changing the status of this or that doesn't make things better, unless there is story potential that comes from it.

Yes Please,
I'll only come back to watch the show if Parker is Phloe's.

Who do you want back for the Days 50th?

What I want most - Philip and Chloe back and Parker's retconned paternity fixed.

I'd also like a return of Jack, a non-a-hole Eric, Austin and Carrie, Bill Horton (the last recast - great chemistry with LK!) and maybe we could get some Lexie ghost scenes.

Definitely want Phloe back with their son Parker , but only if they are given great story I can watch and enjoy, otherwise not interested looking only at their pretty faces, been there many times.

Also want Mimi with Philip's son, that would create some tension between Phloe and Mimi.
Jack,(can't believe they got rid of him because of Jonas family which no one gives kaka)
Vivian,
Shelle(only classic),
Victor Kiriakis(yeah, I know there is someone with the same name, but I want Philip's REAL FATHER).

Stefano, Victor and Kate get caught up in a tangled web of deceit and betrayal.

This is the only spoiler that caught my attention. This is where these three characters should've been, not with Maggie or Rafe or someone else.

Thanks for posting.
