Does Susan ever lock her door? It's ridiculous that everyone is able to just walk in whenever they choose.Rafe and Susan could have had the same conversation at her front door, there was no need for him to just walk into " EJ's" room.I also wonder how Rafe knew where to go to find Sami and Will.I don't recall Susan telling him the name of the bar. They must have more than one bar in Memphis.
No one but Rafe has just walked in. John picked the lock twice, and Sami broke in through a window.
Thanks for clarifying. They all entered illegally but Rafe is the only one who walked in rather than breaking in.One would think Susan would lock her door given all of her previous uninvited visistors.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Theo did stop, though..
He didn't do what he was told to do. His father, mother, and sister are/were cops. He knows the drill.

He was certainly able to pick up on Tripp being into Claire....

He knew what "Freeze" means. Bad SL.
I don't see how Abe,Lexie, and Lani being police officers would mean that Theo was aware of police procedure or "knew the drill".He was told to "drop the weapon".He did not have a weapon.I don't know anything about autism but I would have no problem accepting that someone with autism might not drop the object in his hand because he was told to drop a weapon but he was not actually holding a weapon.I might feel differently if JJ had actually said "drop it" rather than drop the weapon.
I honestly don't see how Theo being jealous of Tripp is a factor in Theo processing what was happening at the time of the shooting.

I don't see this as a BLM story.Theo was accosted by police while engaged in suspicious behavior. He ran from the scene after being told to stop.JJ's actual words telling Theo to drop the "weapon" are very important because one could see where Theo would believe it was okay to turn toward JJ because he knew him and he did not have a weapon but JJ had no reason to know the person in front of him was Theo and because of the darkness could not see that the object was not a weapon. While I have issues with some police shootings,I don't see that a police officer under the circumstances here could reasonably be expected to try to aim for a hand, arm,or weapon or wait until fired upon to shoot.I think the story is more interesting because Lani,Abe,and perhaps Valerie will have a problem with JJ shooting Theo even though they would likely agree that the shooting was justified and because Theo was actually engaged in criminal activity just prior to the shooting.
