So, I'm half watching. Jennifer looks older than I am, and I have a good 4-5 years or more over Reeves. Liam's bewildered look was like "what the flip? I'm obsessing over THIS broad?"
Someone get rid of podNicole. Please.
That's all I've got at this point.

This huge Blake Berris/ Nick 1.0 fan continues to be so disappointed in the needless and constant assassination of a character who was so lovable and upstanding in his first run. And for what? So we can have a story where Will and Sonny are the victims AGAIN? This is practically the exact same story we were getting with these characters over a year ago. It's beyond boring.

Blake Berris would have killed a redemption arc, and there's so much more that could have been done with Nick than turning him into a one-note cartoon villain.
I didn't see Nick 1.0, but this argument still doesn't make sense to me... that he was only brought back for WilSon and his character was destroyed because of it. Nick 1.0 went to jail! For stalking and murder I think? They brought him back for the WilSon/Gabi story because it made sense. He was already a "bad boy."
He wasn't a "bad boy" at all and was still sympathetic (to me, anyway) when he went to prison. There were a lot of mitigating circumstances surrounding the crimes he committed toward the end. And he acknowledged his wrongdoing and tried to atone for it. He really should have been sentenced to a mental health facility instead of prison. EJ was his attorney so he did a poor job in representing him.
Those mitigating circumstances are always such a damn annoyance, aren't they? ;) Says this fan who would have also loved a redemption storyline. Life is not always black and white.

I think the polarized feelings about Nick are a testimony to Blake Berris's acting. I honestly don't see any signs either way of whether he's a homophobe or just deranged. It's sort of like someone telling me I can't prove God exists and I can recounter with "You can't prove to me He doesn't."

Lucas to JenJen: "I didn't think Daniel would sleep with my ex-wife either!!" Lucas...you are the best!
You go Lucas, tells it like it is always. :o
Now, see, one-liners from characters like him that sting truth is sorely needed more often. I hate it that he gets dragged out to occasionally play the truth zingers. They need him more, dammit!

Too bad it seems like Nick is going to be a goner. He could be the new catalyst to heated debates here...... :D pro-Nick versus anti-Nick. Personally, I'd hate to see him gone. I'd love to see him, Liam, and Percy get in cahoots together and reign terror over Salem for a while. Those guys give a spark of interest. Shows need on-going villains, and heaven only knows how long ED is going to be on.

Also something else that Adrienne can blame on Will and his family.
If Sonny is the one who gets shot, I hope we'll see more Justin, Adrienne and Victor. Let's hope Kayla operates on him and not superDan
I just hope Adrianna doesn't blame her son in law if Sonny does get shot, it one thing to blame Gabi... I don't think Adrianna's ever fully trusted Gabi, but I think she played it off well to pretend that she did for Arianna, Will & Sonny's sake.

I wouldn't be surprised if Adrianna wants to blame Sami... frankly I wouldn't be surprised if Will might get angry at his own mother if this comes on the heals of Sami angering Gabi yet again... Sami might get some blame herself from her own Son...

But I agree Justin, Adrianna & Victor are all needed... I think it could be a good storyline because there likely be an overlap between this and the custody battle for Arianna.. I sure that one of Sonny's family would be the likely party to make sure that Gabi's actions came to like not matter if it meant Arianna having only Will & Sonny.
Adrianna?

I think I just tuned out. My music philosophy book is more intriguing than this, and that's pretty sad.

Gads, enough with the fantasies already!
Today had no fantasies Gabi is just out right delusional.. unless you are talking about yesterday's episode in which case that was an over done nightmare
The episode started with Nicole having a fantasy about wanting to talk to Daniel about what she did, and Liam is at Daniel's apartment and exposes her. Eric is standing there calling her a bitch.

Drat, this fantasy was over way too fast. Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted.

I'm sorry I keep interrupting your regularly scheduled conversation, but crap. I'm so enjoying this. What the hell is WRONG with me? Sweeney is giving me LIFE!!!!!!!!

Monday, April 21st Daily Discussion
OK, this is camp. That being said, Sweeney's doing well so far. They should have had her acting like this before. Making it difficult to concentrate on this philosophy book I'm supposed to read!

OK, folks, I'm going to watch this with the attitude that it is camp. See you at the other end....

Wow... just wow... People really want to burn this entire city down today. Jeez, if there is one thing I hate, it's the writers playing the viewers for fools and making something out to be that isn't. I was particularly worried about this when NCIS did Ziva's farewell episode and I'm actually glad that they didn't screw that up.

If Days's ratings is really in the crapper, now is not a good time to be pissing more people off. However, I am indeed worried if the writers are trying to get the show cancelled ON PURPOSE just so they can add in another reality show. It makes me wonder.

At the rate the show is going right now, I seriously doubt the show would last beyond the 50th anniversary. Actually, if they're also going to cancel Law & Order: SVU, (which is another long-running NBC show), I'd rather it give it a proper sendoff. I seriously believe that show will only last one more season and that's it. Hey, it's had a hell of a good run.
Powers don't have to go to this extent to have a show canceled. If they want a show canceled, it gets canceled.

Social Media Posts, Week of April 21st
I personally think Sweeney has insecurity issues similar to Sami's. When this episode is questioned, it's like she is being questioned. She just likes approval. I'm just trying to decide whether I want to watch to see it play out, or not. From what it sounds like, it shouldn't have been hyped.

This thread sounds like it will be more entertaining than the show. Seriously? Was it campy enough that this was supposed to be the intent?

Someone posted before that JS tweeted a while ago that Ejami fans would be happy but in a twisted way, which sounds like Ejami will be together but in a twisted way like Sami just pretending to forgive EJ, or Stefano blackmails Sami into marring EJ. which could be really interesting and angst that fits Ejami, even if Im not sure if I can get to into Ejami and possible set myself up for a disappointment in case Sami will screw EJ over. Still maybe I could like that to if the storyline is well written and either way will Ejami be over once AS leaves.
All of Sami's relationships are going to be over once AS leaves. Question is, what are we going to talk about after that?
Based on recent history, probably EJ's relationships. The glittery hoo-ha will be replaced by the glittery penis. :sarclap:

I like that subject. :D :wub2:

Plus even if I still have some feelings for Ejami Im more or less over them and ready to see EJ in a relationship with someone else.
Except it will probably be Daniel's glittery penis that will be the new glittery hoo-ha.

Hilary Clinton stayed with her cheating husband to me that's not strong at all... That's just weakness personified. It's funny cause I zoomed in and didn't see a ring.
I think that it can be a sign of strength in some relationships, but not in this particular one because of the way it all happened. I also don't think "strong" is the word for Hilary Clinton in that particular context either.
It was weakness, he was who he was. The president of the United States and she was the first lady, I mean who walks away from that position. And now, he is still who he is, and if she walked away, she would be less. Even though, A it's been a while since the cigar got licked and he merely got a little head, ok a lot of head, EJ fucked another woman, made out with another woman, more than once. And old Bill never treated Hillary like EJ has treated Sami

I know this AS's character was totally destroyed for me years ago, and I don't think one show is going to make me think anything more of her. I just pray November gets here fast, just saying.
I have to scratch my head when fictional characters are compared to real-life people, anyway. The whole thing is based on what the writers want to do. And cuckolded women are all going to react differently and have their own reasons for staying or leaving. I don't think it necessarily either makes them weak or strong (unless they're abused). It is what it is. Why not compare to how other writers have written similar plot lines?
