Those lips could star in their own horror movie.

I don't know. Actors tend to voice their displeasure with their show/movie quite often nowadays when they have them. It's one thing if GG is CONSTANTLY complaining but so far it's been one or two tweets about his lack of work and whatever his newest tweet is.

It may be annoying, but it's not uncommon.
It's not uncommon for anyone, but it can also cost them their jobs.

I had to chuckle at their "Who wants Abby and Chad together?". So, what would they do if a ton of people stormed the studio wanting them together? HIre him back so we could see them together next April?

Actually, he probably made a poor decision doing that (you know, like watch what you tweet or put on Facebook about your job sort of thing), but seriously? When you have the whole Kristen story coming down and the blade "mystery" and other things, why another EJami romance tweet? If I was the publicist, I'd be promoting the hell out of things like "Kristen and Eric: Did they or didn't they?". "What did Nicole really see?" "Where is the blade?" "How much does Kate know"? You know, stuff with INTRIGUE?

Ouch. Methinks GG is really starting to wear his feelings on his sleeve, to mix metaphors. And, yeah, there's another EJami promotion (ducking from the ensuing debate that is sure to commence).

Quoting limited to 4 levels deep
It was almost like she began striking poses as she peered into the camera every so often....weird is a good word for it
Overbearing.

Obnoxious.

Obstacle.

Also all good words.
And that explains why she was all over James (other than being his GF)

She knows if she let her guard down for even a moment, one his fans would swoop in and knock her off his arm.
I honestly wouldn't blame her. You know, it's got to be tough, and she has to learn to stand up for her relationship. The man has got to have his own life, too. I'm not going to judge the woman based on a picture and her behaviors in an interview. This is why so many actors' lives are disrupted and rough. It has to be hugely difficult. It's also way JS is probably, in many ways, a private person. He's got to disengage himself from the fray he lives in. At least, I hope she's not a bitch and hanging on to him merely for the celebrity. Who knows?

His girlfriend is so pretty. I was staring at her the entire video
She is very pretty, but there was something about her hanging all over him that was just.....weird.
It was a little odd to me too. Seemed a bit over possessive. She's very pretty though.
You know, you can't blame her. Hard telling what kinds of tweets, emails, and letters he gets from fans. I'd be around to let them know who was the real lady in his life, too, if I was her.

That was before he even started on Days, because I remember people posting that when he first started the show.

Greeneyed Girl when was EJ badly dressed?
He is always as sharp as a tack to me.
Even when he's dressed like this

The CAMEL. I remember the camel.

I think it's so cute how excited Sean Douglas was to be a part of this. :)

And I know some won't agree, but I would prefer Jack and Jennifer had stayed in London, Carrie and Austin had stayed in Switzerland, and Kayla and Steve had stayed in Africa or wherever they were before this latest debacle.

I understand what you're saying, but part of me disagrees. I think if the writers/TPTB would USE the characters well, I'm very much in favor of having them back. I've made no secret of the fact that I love Kayla. I just do. I don't like it that she's not used much, but when she's on, I make a special effort to watch, and they could decide to use her anytime. Why not? They DID use her well when she was coming back and forth to town. It was a treat for me to see her actively engaged in the baby switch story, trying to turn Stephanie around, dealing with Caroline's sudden erratic behavior. I didn't agree with everything she was doing, but it was fun for me to see her as an active part of Salem, and she could do that again.

Justin and Adrienne are said to have a story coming up, and I look forward to seeing that. I may not have been enjoying John lately, but Marlena has been great with Will and more recently Johnny, and she finally stood up for herself with John, which made me happy.

If Matthew Ashford were asked to come back to play Jack again and he decided to accept, that would make me happy, and here I'd be, hoping for something good, even if it didn't mean that Jack and Jennifer would reunite...if JACK were around and given his chance as an individual, that would be something that would make me happy.

I love the supercouples. But sometimes keeping them together isn't going to be the answer anymore...it doesn't mean I don't want to see the individuals they are. Far from it. Sometimes I think that's what I want to see the most nowadays. Who is Marlena without John? Who is Jack without Jennifer? What is Kayla doing now, without Steve?

Strange how I don't really want to see Jennifer with Daniel, LOL! But that's a whole different issue, IMO.

Maybe I'm alone in wondering who the individuals within the couples are nowadays?

Don't get me wrong. If Drake was still working as hard as always, if Stephen were available and on the show, if, if, if...I would welcome seeing the couple stories. But nowadays, by necessity perhaps, I am interested in seeing who the ones who remain are as individuals today, in 2013.
I agree with a lot of what you say -- at least in theory. As we know, all of these couples were great because they were made from great characters -- characters who stood on their own and were complex and compelling before they found life partners. So you're right that they would also stand well on their own again without those partners. We know that.

In theory, it would be interesting. But the sad reality is that we've already seen what these writers do when they break up a couple and move them on separately. It starts with HOW they break them up (e.g., Jack's off-screen walkabout or Steve's off-screen career move or John's incredibly stupid plan or Bo's lame unexplained absence). Right there, they immediately write those people and that relationship out of character. Then they proceed to dumb down one or the other of them while totally decimating the integrity of the other. And THEN, after they've totally ruined any semblance of the great characters and couples we once knew, they will quickly backburner or eject them from the canvas without giving them (or us) a chance to recover. It's a total waste.

I would love to have some of these beloved characters back -- whether they're together or apart. But not like this where it has no point and makes no sense and goes nowhere.
You know, the way you've explained it.............you did this so well! :applause:
