Good God!!!! I can think of dozens of soap actors who were totally gay back in the day!!!! All those pictures of soap stars at the NYC bathhouses....err, "health clubs" that use to make it into the soap magazines was mind boggling!!! George Reinholt, Dennis Cooney, and David O'Brien were frequently whispered about!!!! Joel Crothers and Micheal Lipton also had quite a few rumors about her sex lives make it onto the gossip roundtables!!!! If memory serves me, Paul Denis who was the editor of DAYTIME TV magazine, readily admitted that a NBC soap actor used to conduct all his interviews in the gay bars of NYC and that this actor had an unwritten agreement that his private life was not to be written about in the soap press.
