OK I missed a lot of the Valerie stuff but when that reveal happened I just assumed that's what had happened. Was I not supposed to do that? eta: OK I am rewatching my tape of Passions right now (because I'm cool like that) and at the beginning of the episode when Eve is showing up at Valerie's place you have Vincent and a woman's voice arguing and Vincent threatening to kill her if she doesn't do something he wants (like hide, maybe?). So I'm thinking he either killed Valerie or just impersonates her sometimes.
