One big thing I keep thinking about with Steve swearing revenge on Stefano and looking at some of the upcoming spoilers is that the way I am reading Hogan's intent for this story and all the talk about Sami marrying EJ is to end that.
What is the full purpose of Hogan's story if all that just continues. If it continues then the true meaning of the story was to only end up with EJ and Sami married. And I can think of a hell of a lot better ways to have accomplished that then ruining the Vendetta story for it. If this story doesn't change things or have some other purpose then the whole story was not just a disappointment but a total failure too.
Steve, Hogan basically admitted as such in last week's SOD. The vendetta didn't matter, this storyline was about getting EJ and Sami together. Period.
I am glad to hear that you are keeping DOOL on your taping schedule even if you didn't find that much to be excited about in last week's episode. I hope the show rewards you with a storyline you like better soon.
