A great column and I agree with your sentiments.|
The shows have been warn down over the years by neglect of the central themes.
I understand the need for young characters and fresh stories,but each newbie takes the show further away from its focus.
Frannie Hughes and her children
Sabrina and her children
Dee Stewart Annie Stewart
The Ward quads
Christina Hughes etc
The ridiculous SORASING that has gone on has also been a factor in making viable characters too 'old'to be useful.
I hope someone comes along to take stock and revamp the show.
