Another great one. And oh thanks for the wonderful memories. I loved Lee Patterson.

I have heard that Lee lived a lonely life off screen. It is said that he was gay and at that time leading men were not supposed to be. It forced him into a life of seclusion. I never heard the rumors fully confirmed. It is sad that he did have to hide it - if that is true.

He was a great actor. He and Slezak had great chemistry. I loved him on Another World and then Texas too. Just a little tidbit for the OLTL fans. Guess who Lee's love interest was on Texas?

Give up.................

Catherine Hickland (now Lindsey). She played young doctor Courtney Marshall who fell for the older surgeon Dr. Kevin Cooke

OMMGosh, Steve I remember that. Thanks for reminding me. I liked Dr Kevin Cooke too. Oh, that man was so hot at any age!

So many of those actors from Lee's generation were closeted. What a tough time to be a male leading man; it just shows what good actors they really were. The obituary about Lee labels him as being a 'loner' that's what got to me. From what Erika said about him he must have had many friends. And my hope is that he had a life partner and enjoyed life to the fullest.
