According to Jason47's website, DAYS will be seen on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which is what it normall is. Tim, I don't recall DAYS ever being pre-empted on Christmas Day. They're one of the soaps that is actually on. That's how it's always been. Christmas Eve is usually the day when the Hortons gather for the ornament hanging, and the Bradys go to midnight mass. Then, on Christmas Day, we usually get the reading of the Christmas story at the hospital.|
Last year was the only year that DAYS was pre-empted on Christmas Day, and that was due to NBC's football special airing. For every other years aside form last year, DAYS has aired on Christmas Day when December 25th fell on a weekday.
So the tradition that I spoke of (Christmas Eve-ornaments, Christmas Day-story at the hospital) is in fact true.
So I don't know why we're not getting the Christmas episodes on Christmas Eve or Day when both days the show is being aired on. Why December 26th? We haven't had any pre-emptions lately that would cause this. There was the Thanksgiving Day one, but that's the normal pre-emption. DAYS never airs on Thanksgiving Day.
