New episodes of Brothers & Sisters will begin airing by January 6, and a few weeks back, we gave readers a sneak peek into what coming ahead. However, the network has issued a much more detailed press release of the first new episode of 2008, which means even more spoilery for all those who can’t wait to get a fresh dose of the family drama.
Continue reading only if you want to be spoiled.
The first episode of the new year is “The Feast of the Epiphany.” Tommy (Balthazar Getty) and Julia (Sarah Jane Morris) are trying to fix their damaged marriage. Rebecca’s (Emily VanCamp) connection with David Caplan (Ken Olin) raises some questions about her mother Holly’s (Patricia Wettig) past.
Nora (Sally Field), meanwhile, goes on her first (and very uncomfortable) date with Isaac Marshall (guest star Danny Glover), and Graham Finch (guest star Steven Weber) tries to help Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) get back some of her confidence when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex.
Other guest stars in “The Feast of the Epiphany” include Luke MacFarlane (Over There) as Scotty Wandell, Emily Rose (John from Cincinnati) as Lena Branigan, Denis O’Hare (CSI, Law & Order) as Travis March, Anderson Goncalves (Dexter, Alias, ER, The Unit) as Private John Jimpson, Alan Toy (The West Wing, The Sentinel) as Trent, Al Coronel (Judging Amy, The Practice) as Brad and Jim Jansen (How I Met Your Mother, Veronica Mars, Cold Case, Cane) as Governor Clay Adamson.
"The Feast of the Epiphany" is the tenth episode of Brothers & Sisters’ current season, which means that after it airs, only two new episodes – “The Missionary Imposition” and “Compromises” – will remain.
Catch all new episodes of Brothers & Sisters in January, airing Sunday nights at 10pm on ABC.
