I don't think Chloe wants to just be friends with benefits with Philip. She wants something more, but she doesn't feel like Philip can give all of himself to her, so to make herself feel better and say that she's not totally falling for Philip only to look like an ass in the end, Chloe is going to pretend she just wants to be fuck buddies.
