Actually, it fits the timeframe perfectly. Nicole is in her mid-30's (Ari is 34). Melanie is supposed to be 16 or 17 (though the actress is older). If Nicole got pregnant in her first or second year of college, her daughter would be about that age. I agree. I think they have laid the groundwork nicely and have actually done their homework. This was a good interview. If anyone should be happy with Higley's material, it's Ari. She's really the only character Higley has had a consistent vision and direction for. The character has grown. She's fallen for EJ and even showed her softer side to him. She knows he can read her and that he picks up on why she acts out. It's to cover up her hurt...her longing for love and her thinking she will never find love. I like the sound of this. I really hope Nicole and EJ end up together. So much potential.
