It's a shame the whole storyline is basically just a two week teaser and will probably have very little fall-out. Actually, it seems the hospital aspect is just for two weeks. After that, the action will shift away from the hospital as it seems Stefano will be going underground at the end of the two week period. This seems to be the setup for much more. I think this was the "big bang" to get Stefano back into the fold.
