They mention Austin and Billie but never Cassie and Rex. Tom C. said that there is a rule that they never bring up Rex and Cassie again. I guess that means they retconned their story away. I wonder since when, and why? Rolf mentioned them to Sami a little while ago when they were bonding after he helped her with the twins. Their original story line didn't make sense, but the characters themselves were okay.
