It may crash and burn, but the show is finally focusing on the future. What's wrong with 50ish people having sex? Some of the hottest scenes (or what I consider hot) involve 50-something Kate. As someone who is closer to 50 than to 40, I think middle age sex can be pretty damn good! It depends on the acting, not the age. There is nothing wrong with people in their 50s or 60s having sex, in fact, I hope to be having sex then :) I just don't want to see it in a promo. Although, to be fair, I think it has more to do with the same people for the last 20 years being put on display, then their actual age. Now, that would make sense, except for the fans of Bo and Hope or Steve and Kayla who haven't SEEN that for their couples in a while, especially Bo and Hope. I mean, even John and Marlena had their teasers lately, but when was the last big thing for Bo and Hope besides their vow renewals? And, I see that as token, but hey. I don't watch because of promos anyway. I think the promos needed to be a mix of the mystery and the romance, probably using EJ and Nicole, because EJ is a draw and him being with Nicole is, shall I say, an enticer for even those who didn't want her to end up with him. At the very least, they're pretty enough to draw in the younger crowd and familiar enough to most seasoned fans. Philip is familiar, but Melanie isn't, and she's just too controversial right now. Nicole has had her past better established, and her change of character better established. At least, that's how I see it. I could be wrong. And, they should feature the Passions guys to entice those fans over. ( I need to rewatch that. WAS he featured?)
