The problem is her writing, if you can even call it that, is atrocious. I've never seen it as character driven. It is event driven. If the character has to be destroyed for her event, she could care less. Character driven implies caring about the character's history and motivations. I never saw that from her. I'd much rather have a writer who writes coherent decent stories even if they are pure camp and plot than meaningless drivel that you can't even follow. |
