Well, that's fine. It does to me. Not saying she's egotistical for saying that. She basically said that she would be at Days as long as they would have her and, to me, that even includes being let go. There are ways of letting someone go without burning the bridge. Days did this in such a manner that this wasn't even close but, if they handled it better, then I think she would still feel there would be a place. Now, I think she is hurt and feels with the situation that she is through. Never say never but I'm sure she feels it's not likely right now that she has a place there, especially with the way it all unfolded.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I mean, she loves the show and I'm sure a part of her never saw something like this coming. I don't expect her to say it but I'm sure she knows her importance to the show and it's history. She knows her popularity so I do think she never for a second believed she would be fired.
