CBS unceremoniously canceled "Family Matters"; the show never had the chance to write a proper ending, and from what I've read, from Reginald VelJohnson (I totally screwed up his name I bet; sorry, Carl), there was no idea they wouldn't be back another season, or at least to wrap things up. FUCK YOU, CBS!!! Steve and Laura 4-eva!
