A most accurate assumption..the writing is on the wall..the ratings went up,when Agent Airhead was floating away..and we did not have to see him..the correct people in the story are forefront,and thats why folks are tuning in,,it certainly ain't to see GG "act" ;)

IMO the ratings are up because the baby switch storyline is coming to a close, and our show's top characters have been on the forefront, namely AS, JS and AZ. It was nice to see Carly come back too.
As for Rafe, I'm quite positive that his absence helped tremendously. IMO TPTB knew it would, which is why they chose to keep him off the canvas for this crucial time. I for one am very greatful for that, as it allowed me to watch my show and actually enjoy it.
