Unfortunately, the audience had to view this "extravaganza" not once but twice because the segment was rerun. Clad in evening wear, Phillip and Cricket were placed on a terrace to do a Fred and Ginger routine. Instead of looking like bon vivants tripping the light fantastic, the actors appeared awkward and ill-at-ease executing what should have been graceful dance movements. It was more gesture-by-numbers than anything else. Let's hope that Gene Kelly didn't see the SInging In The Rain-type finale. The fantasy was far more appropriate for someone older -- at least over twenty-one.
