After her romance with Kyle went belly-up, Reva lost her direction. The character made an impressive comeback in a scene at the country club. Wearing her signature red dress, Reva went on a bender at the club, flirting with, then offending the members of that gathering place of the rich and stodgy. Hurt by Josh's rejection, the old Reva emerged: sexy, strong but terribly vulnerable. A welcomed party girl in better days, when she had connections, now Reva was asked to leave the premises. To her surprise, Alan and Phillip were the men who stood up for her. The scene signalled the return of a well-loved character, the hint of an exciting romance between Alan and Reva, and a change for the better at GL.
