The cast bios do not identify the HBS and TS characters as gay or straight (in fact, both were or are married to men). But whether those two characters turn out to be straight, gay, or bi, Venice is definitely catering to a niche audience. Five of its 12 characters are gay and four of those gay characters (played by CC, JL, LK, and NB) are the show's main characters.
