Out of curiousity, If you "can't stand" and "cringe" at Grey's then why do you watch it? You seem to know all about what they are and aren't LOL

As Mason said above, it's a Primetime Soap set in a hospital. It never was supposed to be a medical show like ER or House
I gave it a try a few times in season one. Once in awhile I tune in when I see a promo that interests me just to see how they do with it. I know what it is but I don't even feel it does a good job of that LOL. The only time I think it did anything of note was last season's cliffhanger with George and Izzie. That was good television.

I just think it deserves not to be on the list. It doesn't even do a good job of what it's supposed to do IMO.
Agreed. (except for the george/izzie cliffhanger, the whole "its not george, oh wait ... yeah it is" was retarded)

And in the early seasons when it was better, and every episode centered on some bizarre medical case, the creator definitely tried selling it hard as a medical show and said as much in the press. So it should be held to the same standard as other shows in that vein.
