I've got to chime in on the Alex Marshall love. He was snarky. He was smarmy. He was amoral. He was so much fucking fun! Quinn Redeker played him to perfection (and he married a string of bitches like a bitched up Mary Anderson, Renee Dumonde, & Emma Marshall... hmmm... I'm seeing a different trend, here, too...). Alex is still alive out there somewhere because they wrote him out in the late 1980s by sending him to prison for setting fire the the Salem Inn to collect the insurance money.
