It seems like the show never had a fair chance. It didn't, as I recall. NBC wrote it off too easily, IMO. Instead of putting it on before DAYS in most markets, they should have put it on at 3 PM ET, after AW, when there would be a potentially larger younger audience (which I'm sure was the demographic target for BEACH).
