It was just a fun soap, and not in the PSNS sense either. Even though the last year got kind of sketchy, 1997-1998 was solid, campy storytelling. It was great. I'll never forget the day the earthquake began, and then a week later when the boat capsized. Same here, it's my favorite after Days. I agree about the last year, it wasn't anywhere near as good as the first two. I love the intro in the thread's first post, it was much better than the intro they had the first year. I still don't understand how Sunset Beach only lasted for three years when Passions was on for many more.
