WEEK OF JULY 19 - JULY 23, 1976

ALL MY CHILDREN
Phil returned. David asked Ruth to move into his cottage. Ty beat up Estelle then threatened Lettie Jean, who squealed. Ty offered Donna the No. 1 spot in his stable; she agreed. Chuck was left to face Ty's boys. Mrs. Lum used a fake heart condition to keep Kitty.

ANOTHER WORLD
Rachel refused advice from Ada; she's determiend to be more than a housewife. Dave ordered Iris to stop harassing Clarice. Sharlene chickened out on Angie. Carol's ma, Theresa, arrived and tried to make amends to her daughter.

AS THE WORLD TURNS
Dee argued with Ellen. Dee was responsible for a freak accident that seriously injured newcomer Beau Spencer. Natalie blackmailed Jay. Pat Holland tried to cheer John up, but Mary did the trick. Grant worried that Don will take over his job.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Tommy filled Mickey in on the past. Johnny returned to secretly check up on Rebecca. Amanda remembered Neil but not Greg. Phyllis is pregnant. Nobody's pleased with Julie's choice, especially David. He and Mike got drunk. Mike passed out in Linda's bed and Trish had a fit.

THE DOCTORS
Everyone thinks Matt is going off the deep end, especially the Dancys; Nick thinks it's male menopause. Althea and Nick couldn't reconcile their differences. Paul got her to agree to his plan to pull the plug on Joan.

THE EDGE OF NIGHT
Nicole was found unconscious in the woods. Nancy got a job as a consumer reporter. Tracy spilled the beans about Van to Danny. Van was ready to leave town until he heard Nicole was recuperating. Neely fought with Phoebe.

GENERAL HOSPITAL
Monica fell into Rick's arms but they decided to hide their feelings for Jeff's sake. Diana confessed her fears to her mother. Audrey's getting a divorce from Jim. She and Steve admitted their love. Then he took a spill down a flight of stairs.

GUIDING LIGHT
Justin and Steve argued over Tim. Rita and Holly met for the first time. Ed confessed he's unsure whether to go through with his divorce from Holly. Rita's mother and sister, Viola and Eve, arrived. Viola's being treated by Sarah.

LOVE OF LIFE
Carrie walked out of the hospital because of the bills. Arlene got a job selling cosmetics. In a feverish delirium, Felicia called out for Eddie; only Sarah heard. Charles argued with Joe about Joe's diagnosis of Felicia's guilt feelings.

MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN
The mass murderer go this demands and released Mary. She found out about Mac and retaliated by spending a kissy-poo afternoon with Dennis. Grandpa dated young chick Roberta. Loretta and Charlie left for Nashville but collided with a station wagon full of nuns.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE
Cathy grew more jealous of Victoria's pregnancy; Tony's fed up. Pat found out that Cathy knows that Brian is Tony's child. Jenny worried about Larry and Peter. Dorian beefed up plans to have Peter win the job.

RYAN'S HOPE
Frank walked in on Dee and Roger; then told her it's over. She ran to the family for sympathy. Pat defended her. Seneca's license was revoked. Jill invited him for a weekend in the country and told him about her past with Frank.

SEARCH FOR TOMORROW
David found Ralph. Scott refused to believe Ralph has changed his stripes. Kathy was upset Scott hadn't told her. Chris tried to persuade Gwen to leave; she refused. More sex problems for Amy and Bruce and social problems for Jennifer and John. Liza paid the deposit for Steve's recording session.

SOMERSET
Carrie refused to be taken off the story; she was almost run down by a car. Heather's in a tizzy about the trial. The tapes were lost in a fire and Steve's worried that Carrie's the only witness left.

THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS
Stuart paid for Nancy's trip to her mother's funeral. Lance wanted to give Laurie an engagement ring but she secretly left town with Brad to see a doctor. Vanessa refused to entertain guests. Jack consoled Peggy but is still living with Joann.
