WEEK OF AUGUST 1 - AUGUST 5, 1977


ALL MY CHILDREN (1:00pm - 2:00pm; ABC)
Kitty died in Linc's arms. Nick accused Erica of setting it up when Mona found them together in bed. Erica drooled over ex-football hero Tom and was impressed that he saved little Phil, who insisted on staying with Chuck. Phil and Tara worried that if Donna married Chuck, she would raise little Phil. Phoebe had Benny secretly photograph Charles and Mona in innocent but suggestive situations. Brooke and Danny met at the beach. Nick agreed to help Tom open a restaurant.

ANOTHER WORLD (3:00pm - 4:00pm; NBC)
Vera was miffed when Quentin arranged for Rachel to lecture in France. Mac went into seclusion when she left. Ray blew a multimillion-dollar account because Willis had set it up. Alice tended Sally, who had contracted hepatitis. John threw Mike out when he accused Olive and Evan of taking John for a ride. Olive overheard Evan making verbal passes toward Joan. Sharlene wrote Russ asking for a divorce. Brooks and Louise plotted to trap Sven.

AS THE WORLD TURNS (1:30pm - 2:30pm; CBS)
Bob rushed to aid Lisa who appeared to have a mild breakdown. Valerie and Grant were annoyed that Lisa is stealing all of Bob's spare time. Natalie signed the baby papers. Carol looked forward to having Natalie live next door during Natalie's pregnancy. Annie declined Beau's invitation for a weekend togehter. His old girlfriend Lois also rebuffed his sexual advances. Susan refused Kevin's financial offers. Don returned to Switzerland.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES (1:30pm - 2:30pm; NBC)
Mike dated and slept with Wendy, a girl he met in a singles bar. Rebecca won custody of Dougie, but promised Robert she'll return once a year. Marlena realized that Samantha has been feeding her drug habit by forging prescriptions. Valerie weekended with Danny and was crushed to learn that David has been taking care of Trish, who was released from the hospital. Jean told Maggie she blames herself for Fred's abuse. Danny courted Toni. Bob hired Chris as a replacement for Brooke.

THE DOCTORS (2:30pm - 3:00pm; NBC)
Tom proposed to M.J.; he experienced severe head pains. Luke moved out of Eleanor's and informed her he received financial backing from someone else. Doreen warened Luke to keep their money arrangement a secret from Jason, who was hired as Luke's lawyer. Still no word about Ann, but Steve and Carolee planned to have Ann give him her baby. Eleanor threatened to disinherit Wendy if she kept trying to alienate her and Luke.

THE EDGE OF NIGHT (4:00pm - 4:30pm; ABC)
Bill told Danny that Tracy isn't a prostitute but has been working undercover to nail Inez. Tracys' cover was blown when Mrs. Yost overheard a conversation with Laurie. Packard turned out to be a false lead, but Deborah found the real Packy. April had a relapse. Raven told Kevin she loved him, but dated Logan on the sly.

GENERAL HOSPITAL (3:15pm - 4:00pm; ABC)
Tom agreed to an uncontested divorce. Tommy was rushed to the hospital and is being treated by Gay. Mary Ellen admitted she tried to kill Terri, but insisted she is completely sane now. Larry Joe recovered and warned Heather that he's going to make her squirm over whether he'll tell Jeff the truth. Adam returned and fumed at Gina for not telling him that Gary's now living in town. Gail left for New York on a lecture tour.

GUIDING LIGHT (2:30pm - 3:00pm; CBS)
Ed treated Evie after her spill, and her blurred vision cleared up. Bert announced she's going Steve in London for a joint holiday. Ben pleaded with Evie to allow him to explain what she saw between him and Hope, who left for Europe. Mike and Ann grew closer. Rita was unaware of the arrival of Hillary, who's trying to get a nurse's training position. Jackie was green with jealousy because Justin invited Sarah to dinner.

LOVE OF LIFE (11:30am - 11:55am; CBS)
Ian put a contract out on Frankie, who was found dead. The police suspected Rick. Cal learned that Rick was with Meg, who insisted she prove his alibi, but Cal already told police Rick was home at the time. Carrie ran into Frankie at his meeting with Ian. Ian ordered Ray to make sure Carrie didn't associate the dead man with Ian. Andrew asked Mia to move out.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE (2:30pm - 3:15pm; ABC)
Brian insisted he'd never forgive Pat for not telling him about Paul, who decided to stay in town. Pat insisted she's going to marry Tony when he recovers, but agreed not to tell Brian the truth about his paternity for the time being. Dorian comforted Joe after learning he wants to update his will. Brad continued his drinking spree, while Will convinced Jenny she wasn't responsible for Naomi's death.

RYAN'S HOPE (12:30pm - 1:00pm; ABC)
Frank and Jill were put on opposite sides of the legal fence when she represented the hospital and he represented Pat in a hearing over Alicia's malpractice suit. Mary tended Tom during bum-knee spell, then blew up at him for getting in a tiff with Jack over her. Johnny gave his deposition in the annulment case. Dee warned Faith to keep her mitts off Pat or else.

SEARCH FOR TOMORROW (12:30pm - 1:00pm; CBS)
Kathy learned she's pregnant. Wade managed to get free of his bonds when Allen and Fay returned with Janet's ransom money. Fay fatally shot Wade, as well as a drunk bum who happened upon the scene, and Allen made it look as though the bum was the kidnapper. Greg admitted his love for Jo.

THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS (12:00pm - 12:30pm; CBS)
Kay decided to have surgery for the bags under her eyes and to finance Derek's new salon in order to win him from Jill. Jennifer learned that her family knows about her heart condition. Jody fretted after learning that complications often occur in teen-age pregnancies. Brad was convinced that Leslie performed the best concert of her life because of their separation. Lance and Laurie returned from Paris.
