AH YES!!!! Beau's album!!!! I won this on Ebay about two months ago. Only thing is--it cost a little fortune. Definitely NOT priced for the bargain bin set. Beau has a distinct voice; to my ears it's reminiscent of Elvis Presley. My few complaints about it were, aside from his name not on the front cover and the misspelling of his surname on the spine (Kayser), was that there was only ONE song on it that Beau wrote himself. It was spoken word too....but that's not so bad because his voice is so fucking sexy he could talk to me to the moon. Also, the back cover didn't give a track listing. It was a blurred b&w pic of him with his guitar, with a letter written by the executive producers. You know, if I was in charge of this album, I would've put beefcake pics of Beau on BOTH front and back!! The second side is cover versions of '70s pop hits like "Let Me Be There" (ONJ). The last song is his rendition of the theme to Y&R. I'll put it to you like this....Beau should've done another album consisting of just songs he wrote himself. I know he did that back in the '70s when he was on Y&R (some of the soap magazines back then published the lyrics to one of his songs and mentioned that he had written original songs for Jill and Joann Curtis). Personally it's things like this that make me wish some online service would show the '70s eps of Y&R in their entirety!! So I can see Beau with his beautiful face and hairy chest doing his thing to maintain brotherhood in GC!! |
