Emmerdale pulled in high figures for its Thursday night double bill, according to overnight data.

Nathan's suspicion of Abi was seen by 7m (35.8%) at 7pm, and Diane's acceptance of Doug's offer grabbed the attention of 7.31m (32.1%). Last week, the equivalent episodes managed 6.37m (31.9%) and 6.69m (29%) respectively.

Coronation Street followed with 7.97m (33.4%) at 8.30pm, and 473k (3.8%) on ITV2 over two hours later. EastEnders, however, was still the most-watched soap of the day, with 8.26m (38.5%) watching Kat's decision to leave with Michael on BBC One at 7.30pm, while 847k (4.4%) tuned in for BBC Three's 10pm repeat.

Elsewhere, Hollyoaks logged 1m (5.5%) at 6.30pm, then E4's first look mustered just 283k (1.4%). Meanwhile, Doctors picked up 1.21m (18.6%).

Neighbours won 697k (10.6%) at 1.45pm, and 1.28m (9.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 288k (4.9%) at 2.15pm, and 797k (4.8%) at 6pm. Fiver's first look had 482k (2.6%).
