I don't know what to do that would fix those except to suggest using Firefox or Chrome. I replaced the Like/Dislike button images with the Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down images that show up underneath the posts you've liked/disliked. The thumb images are transparent and match all the themes instead of just the lighter ones.
