Here's a montage that played at the soap awards in 2011. I would totally want to check them out if I saw this... That's a really good montage! I see your point. Wow. I want to watch all of those shows NOW. I think one thing U.S. soaps could learn is to not be so pretty. The UK soaps are good about this. Abby is NOT going to look that good just trolling around in HTS. Even pretty girls in the U.S. don't put on that much makeup just to go around town. Soaps can be unrealistic while at the same time, be realistic. Plus, the UK soaps aren't afraid to use less than attractive people too. That attracts various demos.
