This is a possible premise, I agree. But it's with near certainty now that EJ is Ian's son, so the point is moot. When I saw the preview clip of Ian? MY GOD. It was like seeing EJ aged in 20 years. That man is EJ's father. I have NO doubt in my mind. :)

Remember Tony's accent? What about Lexi and Chad's american accent? :shrug:
I can't explain life's mysteries, and you raise very good points. But the last name suggests a preference for Italian heritage.
That would make him half Italian, half what ever Susan is. He is/was a citizen of the UK, explaining the accent and making him British, although he is not English by ethnicity. :shrug:
