I watched season two on PBS this year. The last episode was on January 19, 2012. The youngest married the driver, Matthew was paralyzed during the War, engaged to Lavina. She died from the Spanish flu. Lord Grantham had a brief affair with a maid. Mr. Bates finally married Anna only to be sentenced life in prison for killing his wife. The youngest daughter is in Ireland and pregnant with her first child. Mary finally decided to marry Matthew, her cousin. :puke:
The series in produced by NBC and cost over 1 million dollars. Episodes are edited when they reach the US viewing audience. Season 3 begins January 2013 and the show begins in the spring of 1920's. Actor Shirley Mclaine has been signed to portrayed Lady Grantham mother.
