Regarding the Elvis stuff, I believe it was Vivian who said Susan switched the order as an act of revenge against Kristen for firing her. John knew Kristen didn't want a theme wedding. He just thought she was making the best of a bad situation. It's just... did John really not know Kristen at ALL, to the degree that he would believe she would go through with it? Esp if, as Vivian claimed, Susan did it for revenge? She could have easily put on a simple dress and given him one of his MANY black suits in his closet. She wanted to elope for months, no big hoozah, now it's Nightmare at Graceland. I know logic has no real place in soaps, but... They lost me there. Other than that, the way he told the story (and considering that during the time Kristen was putting everything but an actual blindfold over his eyes, he was obsessed with Marlena), I believed that John would see the good in people.
