Sami spent years chasing after a man who was in love with her sister. That didn't seem to stop her from wanting him. And, according to many people, that was the Real Sami. So, I would think that Rafe's little attraction to Carrie would have only spurred Sami on. I think the difference was Sami was chasing men who were already all about Carrie. For Sami, she always wanted what Carrie had. Rafe had never met Carrie until he and Sami were married - and yet he fell for her anyway.
