I agree with concerned that there were other things leading up to Sami and Rafe's break-up, not just the griefsex. Sami is not entirely to blame. Rafe did emotionally cheat on Sami with her sister, Carrie, and kissed her before Johnny went missing. Even before he found out that EJ and Sami had sex, he was still "fighting" his attraction for Carrie.

The operative phrase is he was fighting it.They were having problems before the griefsex but Rafe is shown as a person willing to talk about and work on their problems before and after the griefsex while Sami is shown to alternately push for the recommitment ceremony while hiding the griefsex and push Rafe away.I am not claiming Sami and Rafe did not have significant problems,I am just saying I believe they would have tried to work on the problems had it not been for the griefsex with EJ which is why I don't have a problem with Sami accepting a significant portion of the blame for the break up and attempting to make it right.In fact this has been the most mature behavior from Sami I have seen in a long time.
