Jennifer will blame herself. And then we'll be treated to endless scenes of Jen being over wrought and wringing her hands while Maggie (or Hope or Abigail or Daniel or Brady or Marlena...) comfort her in her hours of need.

I wouldn't be surprised if they took it even further and had Nicole press charges. Actually, maybe that's why there's a substitute doctor - they want someone who doesn't know Jennifer from the hospital or someone who won't be around if Nicole makes it look like the baby died as a result of a crime.
