Are you saying they should make it so that Nicole's baby died from HIV? That would be really irresponsible because it is scientifically incorrect. Even if the child is exposed to HIV in utero, the virus itself causes no damage. It would still need to incubate and develop into full-blown AIDS. Also, most transmission of HIV from mother to child occurs during childbirth or through breastfeeding. With precautions, the odds of a HIV+ mother transmitting HIV to a child is pretty small (about 2%). |
