You've been one of the most vocal people re your hate/dislike of Melissa Reeves and your feelings for Reeves are definitely transferred to Jennifer Horton Deveraux. Who imho is no way the character you describe at all!

So my only questin is...how is this Jennifer's fault and why does she deserve what Nicole is doing to her??? I'll wait............
The way the writers have written this storyline, it had nothing to do with Jennifer "winning points" with Daniel. She offered to let Nicole stay at her house because she is a kind person..that's it thats all.
I think you nailed it right there.
I'm supposed to believe that Jen is a kind person. I don't believe that for a second. I think she's shallow, fickle, humorless, and mean. I get annoyed that I'm supposed to believe she's a kind person, frankly, because I've not seen any evidence of that.
So if she gets a hard time because she meddled in something she shouldn't have, and because she chooses to battle with a pregnant woman at the top of a staircase- I think she deserves it. If EJ also decides to get revenge on her, I think she deserves it. If Jack's family or Abigail turn on her, I think she deserves it. If Marlena randomly bitchslaps her, I think she deserves it.
There's a bit of another layer, because I feel like the writers want me to ignore Jen's asshole behavior but not Nicole's, and I'm so not willing to do that. But, bottom line, for me there's nothing in the story or the portrayal of the character that makes me believe Jen deserves anything but crap thrown at her from all directions.
