Who imho is no way the character you describe at all! I'll be honest, I'm struggling with a response to this. I'm thinking it through and I really don't like her as an actress. Outside of Alice's funeral- where I thought she brought a needed warmth and heart- and the scenes when Jack first returned, her performances leave me cold. And that does have an impact on how I interpret the character, though I don't think it's wrong to assess a character in light of how I feel about the portrayal.
