Grief and sympathy are two completely different things. Nicole robbed him of the few moments of joy he could have had with the baby, so if he gives her one ounce of sympathy, it's more than she should rightfully expect to get. We didn't even see EJ worry about how Nicole and that 'bloody baby' of his survie the explosion. He did mention it very casually to throw it in Rafe's face that he was lying about being the father, but we never saw him show any real concern. I'm glad he didn't get to enjoy any of Nicole's pregnacy because he didn't deserve to.
