Will the writing for it suck? Most likely, since it's at the hand of Tomlin. But at least Blake is a good actor, if anyone would do a good job with that story, it's him! the only minus side about this story is that Gabi would be smack dab in the middle of it. and just like with Tomlin's other pets, Rafe & Daniel, Gabi would be painted as the saint that saves Nick and helps him get through all of this. Because heaven forbid anyone in his family had ever been to prison & been beaten while there (ehem - Hope), or that a very close friend be a psychiatrist (ehem - Marlena). I was gonna add that we've even got Sami who's been raped, but TPTB love to forget this minor point in favor of furthering EJami. Though it would be an interesting dynamic to have Sami help someone who's gone through a somewhat similar experience, even though he's not comfortable with her son's sexuality. That would be so good and Sami would be forced to deal with what happened to her not once but three times. it was a big mistake to have her leave therapy so soon after her first rape and IMO that has lead her down this path where she thinks so little of herself that she let things happen without taking action, even entertaining a relationship with one of her abusers "for the kids". They really need to stop that. It has destroyed her character but it doesn't help that places like SONY are promoting it as something it has NEVER been. On Nick I just don't want them to turn him psycho again after the Wabi baby reveal. I loved Chelsea and Nick and was warming up to Gabi and Nick but I already see the writing is on the wall and the PTB will do to them what they have to every couple set out to destroy them. :frustration: Edited by Helpless Romantic, Nov 2 2012, 10:31 AM.
