The first relationship they had they slept together. Well, not "slept" together, but you know what I mean. As for the pain pills on the nightstand, when I had major surgery they had a pain pump inserted that I could give myself a bump every so many minutes. When I was on that, they didn't give me pills on the side. Then I came home with a smaller pain pump with antibiotics and pain meds. Continuous flow for about a week, then I took it out. Small wire about the thickness of a hair. It was marvelous! Until it ran out. :(
