Sonny doesn't have much room to maneuver over the actual fact that Will and Gabi had sex. He could make a small and flimsy case since they had fought before that event; but that's it. The real tension will come if Will starts lying - even lying by omission - about the baby's paternity from this moment forward. Will questioned Sonny's past knowing that he had his own skeletons he would prefer not be unearthed. That will probably bite Will in the ass as much as the possible lying.
