Why the need to change writers then is my question? Why would you think the decision to change writers had anything to do with whether or not they were planning to write for Ejami? There's lots of reasons to change writers that have nothing to do with storyline direction (budget, poor execution of stories, personality conflicts, etc.), let alone the storyline direction for just one couple.
