I understand where you're coming from but this is a soap and the genre by nature thrives on scandal and shocking/dramatic/illicit/complicated romantic relations. Didn't something like this happen on Sunset Beach way back when with the character of Antonio who was a priest? He was in love with his brother Ricardo's wife Gabi? The heart wants what the heart wants...
